AAA-administered New York no-fault cases are filed and managed through the New York Insurance ADR Center, with Form AR1 and online filing options for many filers.

What AAA administers

The American Arbitration Association administers New York no-fault arbitration cases through the New York Insurance ADR Center. AAA says cases can be filed and managed through the ADR Center, and streamlined submissions may use Simple File.

Before you file with AAA

  1. Confirm the dispute belongs in AAA no-fault arbitration. AAA no-fault arbitration is different from Arbitration Forums' NY PIP intercompany program.
  2. Register if needed. AAA says first-time filers must contact New York State Insurance Customer Service before filing electronically.
  3. Prepare the request. Use the current Form AR1 or online filing workflow.
  4. Upload or attach evidence. Include bills, denials, proofs of claim, assignments, records, and correspondence.
  5. Keep the case number. Use the case number to track status and communicate with AAA.
